SYSTEMS COMPANY HISTORY
Team Courier,
Inc. was formed by Michael A. Dinardo in October of 1989 as a separate
non-union arm of Southern California Courier. Starting with only a handful
of accounts and roughly $100,000 of revenue for the fiscal year ended
July 31, 1990, the goal of the company was to grow primarily through
the use of entertainment contacts made during the previous 9 years of
operations at Southern California Courier. The business plan called
for a growth rate of 15-20% per year for the first 5 years. This goal
was more than doubled during this period.
Recognizing changes and resulting opportunities in the industry in 1995,
Mr. Dinardo changed the name of the company to Team Delivery Systems
to better reflect the diverse nature of services being offered by the
firm. This name change along with strategic implementation of the business
plan allowed the company to diversify into other services such as warehousing
and integrated logistics while still focusing on the local on-demand
messenger market.
Presently, Team Delivery Systems continues to maintain a strong presence
in the on-demand, small package delivery industry in Los Angeles. Electronic
billing, on-line order entry/tracking and two way data communication
are but a few of the new cookies in the jar at Team Delivery. Please
